KuKirin provides a reliable and hassle-free warranty process. To be eligible for warranty service, please retain your original purchase receipt, Limited Warranty documentation, and relevant claim details to verify eligibility.
1. Warranty Coverage & Duration
Standard Coverage: KuKirin offers a 12-month warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, starting from the date of purchase.
Consumables: Tires and brake pads are classified as consumables and are covered by a 1-month warranty.
Third-Party Purchase Disclaimer: This warranty applies strictly to products purchased directly from kukirin-escooter.us. If you purchased your scooter from another dealer or platform, please contact your original seller for warranty support.
What is Included:
We are responsible for troubleshooting, providing free repair services, or sending replacement parts to resolve legitimate manufacturing defects.
What is Excluded:
The warranty does not cover issues caused by personal misuse, abuse, negligence, unauthorized alterations, or accidents (e.g., riding in wet conditions, dropping the board/scooter).
2. Warranty Solutions & Out-of-Warranty Fees
Minor Issues: For simple technical issues, we will ship replacement parts and provide detailed video instructions to guide you through the replacement.
Complex Issues: If your scooter experiences multiple or severe problems, KuKirin will evaluate the situation to determine whether the unit should be sent to an authorized repair center.
Out-of-Warranty / Excluded Repairs: If an issue is not covered under warranty (e.g., failure due to water ingress or misuse), all repair costs, labor fees, and replacement parts will be chargeable. The customer will also be responsible for round-trip shipping/freight charges.
3. Step-by-Step Claim Process
Step 1: Submit Claim — Contact our support team via email or WhatsApp. Provide your order number, along with photos or videos clearly demonstrating the issue.
Step 2: Diagnosis & Resolution — Our technical team will inspect the issue and provide a solution (either shipping replacement parts or authorizing a return to a designated repair center).
4. Void Warranty & Exclusion Terms
The warranty shall be completely void, and all rights to service will be forfeited under the following circumstances:
Proof & Expiration: The warranty period has expired, or the buyer cannot provide adequate proof of purchase.
Unauthorized Sources: The product was not purchased from KuKirin or an authorized dealer, or was received as a free/complimentary item.
Unauthorized Modifications: The product was modified or repaired by unauthorized technicians, or configured with unsupported software/firmware or non-original parts.
Water Damage & Weather: The scooter was ridden in the rain, driven through water deeper than 4 cm, or damaged by exposure to adverse atmospheric conditions (e.g., corrosion, condensation due to improper storage).
Physical Damage & Misuse: Faults caused by dirt, water, foreign bodies, physical shock, dents, thermal fractures, vandalism, or failure to follow the official user manual.
Transport & Storage: Damage or defects resulting from improper handling, shipping, or storage by the buyer.
Missing Identifiers: Product serial numbers, identification codes, or markings have been erased, altered, or made illegible.
Loss or Theft: The product is lost or stolen.
5. Battery Range Disclaimer
The published battery range is calculated based on standard factory test parameters: 60 kg rider weight, 25°C ambient temperature, an average speed of 20 km/h, and smooth city road conditions.
Actual battery performance and range will vary depending on factors such as rider weight, terrain, temperature, and riding style. Discrepancies between real-world range and published data are normal. However, if a reduced range is determined to be caused by a manufacturing battery defect, KuKirin will take full responsibility and resolve the issue promptly.
